The event was a fundraising event for the Monona Grove Education Foundation. Girls on the Run, MG Staff and administration, and PTO members also volunteered during the event. Proceeds from the event will be divided equally between MGHS, Cottage Grove School, Taylor Prairie School and Glacial Drumlin School for the creation of endowment funds.
